How Bandi-Coot Works
Step 1 - Search To Sell
To begin your journey selling your unwanted devices to us you must be able to find your device on our website. To find your device simply 'Click Here' or just start typing the make or model into the search bar on any page. Once you have begun typing, all of the relevant options will appear in a drop down menu. Alternatively you can select the 'Sell My Tech' tab from the top banner of any page, this will redirect you to the 'Sell My Tech' page where you can select each product, initially by manufacturer and then by model. This process helps us understand what devices to expect at Bandi-Coot and also allows you to see the exact price you will be getting for your goods.
Step 2 - Instant Price
Once you have identified the correct model from our search to sell step, you are ready to let us know what condition your device is in along with telling us what network your device is connected to. You will see that you will have a choice of selecting 'Fully working' or 'Faulty/Damaged' and then followed specifically by telling us what condition the device is in. Don't worry if you're not sure, each condition comes with its own drop down info bar that tells you everything you need to know. Not sure what network your electronics connected to? Usually this can be found in your device settings, but don't worry we can confirm when we receive it! You will notice once you have selected the correct information regarding your device, you will receive an instant price that we will pay for your goods. When you are satisfied simply hit the 'Sell My Device' button which will take you to your next step!
Step 3 - Remove Accounts & Factory Reset
After creating your account it's time to make sure your phone has been cleared of any existing personal information. This helps to speed up the process when your device reaches us, in addition to ensuring that any personal data has been wiped.
Please note, if we receive a device that still contains personal information or is logged into a iCloud or Google account, then we may not be able to complete your order. Step 4 - Register or Create
Once you’re satisfied with the value of your device it's time for you to create an account with us, where this means we can make an instant payment to your account once we’ve received your tech. Making an account allows us to keep you updated on your device’s journey, where you can also leave reviews or arrange a refund if required.
If you’re a returning customer then you can simply log back into your account using your username and password. Forgotten your login details? Don't worry, you can reset your password using our link on the login page. All usernames and passwords are fully confidential, so we recommend taking note each time you set them.
Step 5 - Confirm & Complete
Once you have removed any private data, you will be ready to ship your device to us. You’ll be directed to our checkout page where you should ensure that all your personal information and contact details are correct. Once you are content, you will need to let us know how you heard about us by ticking one of our option boxes.
Finally, you’ll be required to read and agree to our T&Cs, before placing and completing your order. If you’ve chosen to send your device to us using your own packaging then you can do so immediately. Alternatively, if you’ve chosen to use one of our recycling packs then this will arrive the next working day.
Step 6 - Same Day Payment
Upon receiving your device our qualified technicians will run a brief series of tests against your device, functionally and cosmetically. This is to confirm the device aligns with the description you advised us it was. If for any reason there is an issue with your device our team will attempt to contact you to rectify this on the day the device is received and processed. 9/10 your devices pass our tests and match the description provided. Once completed, our finance team will make payment via the method of your choice, either BACS or PayPal. This payment will arrive in your account same day, usually instantly by on occasions may take up to 2 hours to process. Payments will be made at the end of the working day to allow us to complete all orders successfully. Once payment has been delivered, your order will be complete, which you will be notified via email.
